Birthday gifts for kids by age: toddlers to big kids
By the Wish & Wrap editorial team · Updated
A birthday gift for a child goes over best when it's made for their age: too young and it's ignored, too old and it's frustrating or not safe. Before you buy, ask the parent whether the child keeps a wish list. On Wish & Wrap a parent keeps a child's list, relatives reserve gifts privately so nobody buys the same thing twice, and the child never sees who is giving what.
Prices below are the lowest store price at our last check, with the date of that check. Stores change prices often, so the store's page has the final price. For more ideas, see birthday gift ideas and gifts for kids.
