Oura Ring 5

Why it's exciting

Oura made the smart ring popular, and the Ring 5, released in June 2026, is mostly about comfort: Oura says it is about 40% slimmer and calls it the world's smallest smart ring. It tracks sleep, activity, heart rate and recovery, and gives a daily readiness score in the Oura app. Battery life is 6 to 9 days, and the new charging case stores enough power for several full charges. You need the right ring size, so many buyers order Oura's sizing kit first, and the app's full features need an Oura membership that is billed separately. That makes it a better gift when you know the person wants one.
