Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) AI Glasses

Why it's exciting

Smart glasses finally look like regular Ray-Bans, which is most of why these took off. The Gen 2 model keeps the familiar frames and adds better battery life, about 8 hours of use, and a camera that records 3K video. You can take hands-free photos, listen to music through small speakers near your ears, take calls, and ask Meta AI about what you are looking at, such as a sign in another language. They come in several frame styles and can take prescription lenses. They are best for someone who already likes Ray-Ban styles and is comfortable with a Meta account; a camera on someone's face also raises privacy questions worth thinking about.
